Gabrielle uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) when working with couples as it has been found to be the most successful form of couple's therapy in the world and is highly successful in helping to decrease symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD. In session, you will work on recognizing your distress cycle (the cycle you have created as a couple when you are in distress or conflict). You will learn how this cycle creates disconnection in your relationship and in order to create healthy connection, you will need to develop a new cycle. EFT will help you build secure attachment in your relationship, so it can become a safe haven for both you and your partner.
